The program focuses on conductor Huang Xiaotong,the originator of Chinese symphony conductor.Huang Xiaotong is the originator of Chinese symphony conductor. In his early years, he was sent to the Moscow State conservatory named after P.I.Tch in Moscow. During his period of studying abroad, his talent was recognized by the former Soviet conductor Alexsander Gauk. After returning to China, Huang Xiaotong taught at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and trained a group of outstanding conductors, including the famous conductors Chen Xieyang, Lin Yousheng, Tan Lihua, Tang Muhai, Wang Yongji, Yu Long and Liu Ju.
