The program focuses on Chen Danqing's creative experience and his attitude towards life. In the 1970s, Chen Danqing learned painting himself when he went to the countryside and settled in the communes. In the early 1980s, he became famous worldwide for his Tibetan series oil painting. Chen Danqing was one of the founding members of the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. He also attended the 2008 Shanghai Book Fair with his book. In the program, Chen Danqing talked about his experience of painting creation, the education of current Academy of Fine Arts, and the development of contemporary art.
