The program focuses on the actor Zhang Mingyu's learning, performance, love and marriage.As the actor of the former Shanghai Youth Repertory Theatre, Zhang Mingyu studied at the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1950s when he was classfied as the right wing. But his teachers and classmates gave him much care. And he performed dramas such as Sino-Japanese Naval War in 1961. Zhang Minglu’s love and marriage with his wife Yuan Guoying has been bumpy but they finally had a happy ending. The couple also co-starred in the drama Love Letters.
