The program focuses on pianist Jiang Tian living in the United States. Born in Shanghai, Jiang Tian learnt piano since he was a child. In his boyhood, he played for foreign guests in the Children's Palace, and was appreciated by many foreign musicians. In 1981, Jiang Tiangong was sent to America for further study at San Francisco Conservatory of Music at public expense and became the first student to enjoy such honor. He is not only a pianist, but also a concert planner.
