The program focuses on Exhibition of Simon Foundation's collection of the 19th century European fine paintings and its exhibits. From June 21st to August 18th, 2008, the Exhibition of Simon Foundation's collection of the 19th century European fine paintings was held at the Shanghai Art Museum. Among the exhibits, there were Frederic Leighton’s Greek Girls Picking up Pebbles by the Sea, Lawrence Alma-Tadema's The Rose of Elagabalus, Edvard Munch's A Midsummer Night and Jean François Miller's Road Keeper and so on. The writer Chen Danyan and executive director of the Shanghai Art Museum Li Lei introduced and discussed the exhibition and exhibits.
