The Shanghai science and education film studio specials focuses on woodblock prints of Rong Baozhai. Before the liberation in 1949, Rong Baozhai had copied many masterpieces of ancient painters, and its reproductions were exquisite and well-known in China. When the paintings were re-enacted, the painter first copied the drafts of the paintings. Then workers carved the wooden boards according to the divided manuscripts, and the printing workers printed them on the wooden boards. After the founding of New China in 1949, Rong Baozhai has reenacted the works of several contemporary painters.
