In November 1981, the new station of Baozhen Town in Chongming County was officially put into use. The new station was built opposite the dock of Baozhen Town, with a construction area of 3,000 square meters, a parking lot area of 6,000 square meters, and a new waiting room of 864 square meters. The station was spacious and bright, solving the crowded traffic in the past.
