In 1950, returned overseas Chinese Wu Yingju, composer of Shanghai Fine Arts Film Studio, spent more than a year's spare time completing the creation of the patriotic suite - The Song of Overseas Chinese , collaborating with Xie Zhongli, Bing Shu and Zhu Fengbo based on his own experience and the large amount of materials collected. The suite was printed by Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing House, recorded and distributed by Shanghai Records and put on the domestic and foreign markets.
