Documentary “The Beautiful kashgar” offers a new perspective on the wonders of southern Xinjiang, the first panoramic, high-definition shot of China's western frontier city. The documentary consists of four 40-minute episodes. It tells the cultural history, mountains and rivers, culture and folk customs and rich products of bachu, zep, Yecheng, Shache and other counties in kashgar, intersperses historical documents, folk tales with real people and current stories, presenting this beautiful and rich, vast and magical oasis to the world, and depicting a magnificent picture. In order to make this documentary a success, SMG documentary channel had three film crews who went to Xinjiang for several times to mingle with the local people.
